Professor Shuji Akai was awarded this prize for 2023, and the award ceremony and award lecture were held at The 143rd Annual Meeting of The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan held in Sapporo, Japan, March 25-28. The research subject of the award is “Development of Highly Selective Synthetic Methods for Supporting a Sustainable Society and Their Application to Pharmaceutical Sciences”.
